Since the early 1960’s, in the UK, analgesic gas has been used extensively and successfully in emergency care and to help alleviate pain in childbirth. Currently there are many other therapeutic indications for the use of this gas, such as: trauma, burns, reduction of simple fractures, dental, endoscopy and transport.
